Pechanga RV Resort Reopens In Temecula

The park opened with limited spaces on Tuesday.

TEMECULA, CA — Pechanga leadership announced Wednesday that it has reopened the Pechanga RV Resort following a temporary shutdown that began April 6 amid coronavirus concerns.

The park, which opened with limited spaces on Tuesday, is putting in place "stringent regulations" for guests and team members "in order to maintain public health and safety," according to a news release from Pechanga.

“This was another important milestone as we move into the economic recovery phase of this pandemic,” said Jared Munoa, president of the Pechanga Development Corporation. "We remain vigilant in doing our part to protect public health and safety, which is why we are maintaining many of the same health precautions that are still in place at our RV Resort as are in place across California.”

A date for reopening Pechanga Resort Casino has not yet been set, but tribal officials anticipate that reopening will be incremental.

"Pechanga continues to coordinate closely with federal, state, and local government counterparts to manage through this crisis and determine when it is safe to reopen," the news release said.
