Lastly, the tribe provided a $5,000 grant to the Temecula-based Community Mission of Hope, which "provides tangible help, through food and hygiene products, as well as compassionate mentorship for the social, physical, financial and spiritual needs of local individuals and families," along with case management and housing assistance, according to a Pechanga statement.

All of the nonprofits have seen demand for their services increase dramatically over the last six months amid the public health shutdowns stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.
