Child Struck On Temecula Parkway Near School: Taken To Hospital
Riverside County Sheriff's Department and Cal Fire raced to the scene early Thursday on reports of a car striking a juvenile in the roadway.
TEMECULA, CA — A vehicle struck a juvenile at a Temecula Parkway intersection near Rancho Christian School early Thursday, officials say.
Shortly before 8 a.m., emergency responders arrived at the scene of Temecula Parkway and Kevin Place/Rancho Community Way, where the juvenile was struck, according to Sheriff's Department spokesperson Sgt. Deirdre Vickers.
"Upon arrival, deputies located a juvenile in the roadway, and the driver remained at the scene," Vickers said. "The patient was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in a stable condition, and no arrests were made."
