Woman Pulled From Burning Temecula Area Home
BREAKING: Smoke was pouring out of the home Sunday afternoon.

TEMECULA, CA — One person was pulled from a burning Temecula Valley home on Sunday afternoon and rushed to the hospital with major injuries, officials report. A photographer spotted the woman being loaded into an ambulance after the fire broke out on Cardiff Avenue in the unincorporated area of Riverside County near Temecula and Murrieta.
Fire reports indicate the blaze was first reported at 1:14 p.m. Sunday. More than two dozen firefighters responded to the scene.
“Upon entering the structure, firefighters located an adult victim,” the Riverside County Fire Department reported. “The victim was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance in serious condition.”

An update on the woman’s condition was not immediately available.
The fire was contained by 2:30 p.m. to the house “which sustained major damage including a partial roof collapse,” according to the fire department.
