Mid-September can be a great time to pick up pumpkins before the October rush. Plus, many pumpkin patches offer complimentary hayrides, corn mazes and games for kids.

SEPT. 25-OCT. 31: Peltzer Pumpkin Farm. Pumpkin patch runs all season, with special grand-opening planned Sept. 25.
OCT. 1-31: The Mansion Of Lost Souls. Tormented souls, trapped within the walls, will be screaming at this annual Promenade haunt. Be brave!
OCT. 1-31: 'Temecula Terror' Haunted Mazes. New attraction with three mazes, plus family-friendly hours, too.
OCT. 2-31: Big Horse Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. No Harvest Fest this year, but site open daily.
OCT. 9: Sunrise Rotary's Annual 'Run Through The Vineyard' - A beautiful, fall event & supports many causes.
OCT. 29: Halloween Carnival: Old Town. Fun, games & costume contests.
OCT. 29: Free Youth Symphony Halloween Concert. Enjoy spooky favorites & light pops music by Temecula Valley Youth Symphony.
OCT. 29-30: Halloween High Tea. Space is limited, so book soon.
