Pretty With a Purpose: Brighton’s 2013 Power of Pink Campaign

Brighton announces the arrival of their 2013 Power of Pink bracelet
– which has been created by their own designers to support breast cancer
charities. Through the years, the company has donated $4,750,000 to worthy
organizations that are working towards the cure we all hope will come soon.
This year’s bracelets will be available from September 27th through
the month of October.

The jewelry is truly “pretty in pink” with Swarovski crystals
on the heart charm and a link bracelet. In addition, there are coordinating
earrings and a necklace, plus leather and microfiber accessories in a beautiful
pink hue to give women options for completing their look.

For each $60 Power of Pink bracelet, Brighton will donate $5
to Michelle's Place and the Brighton Collectibles stores will match the
donation, bringing the total to $10 per bracelet.

Breast cancer strikes adults of all ages, including many in
their 20s and 30s. Each year an estimated 250,000 women and men in the U.S.
will be diagnosed. 40,000 American women die each year from breast cancer. With
treatment breakthroughs from the charities’ continuing research, death rates
have been decreasing each year.

The Temecula Brighton Collectibles store is privately owned
by Temecula residents Craig and Angela Pettitt. The Pettitts also own four
other Brighton stores: Riverside, Escondido, Palm Desert and El Cajon. Craig
and Angela have donated over $100,000. to Breast Cancer awareness since 2003.
The cause also took on an added meaning to The Pettiitt’s as Angela lost her
best friend (a 40 year-old, mother of three) to Breast Cancer Two and ½ years
ago.
