TEMECULA, Calif. – Live boxing action returns to Pechanga Resort & Casino this August with an action-packed night on Friday, August 5 at 7:00p.m. CBS Sports broadcasts the event which features seven bouts and at least two fights on live television. Tickets are $50, $65 and $85 for ringside seats and may be purchased by calling (877) 711-2946, visiting Pechanga.com or in person at the Pechanga Box Office.
The night’s main event features what’s expected to be a hard-hitting 10-round middleweight fight between Robert Brant (20-0-0, 13 KOs) of St. Paul, Minnesota and Chris Fitzpatrick (16-5-0, 6 KOs) of Cleveland, Ohio. Brant’s record and fighting style stands as a formidable hurdles for his competitors, though Fitzpatrick could present the challenge to notch a loss on Brant’s scorecard.
The eight-round lightweight co-main event lightweight bout features Mason Menard (31-1-0, 23 KOs) from Rayne, Louisiana against a soon to be named opponent. The veteran fighter has been training hard with his individual camp, and says he’s ready to give boxing fans an exciting show.
Fight fans can watch eight other action-packed fights in excitement-filled arena of the Pechanga Grand Ballroom. Seating nearly 2,000 people, the bouts are often attended by well-known boxing names and local celebrities and tickets often sell out.
