2 Near-Drownings Of Infants Reported In MoVal

MORENO VALLEY, CA – Two infants were hospitalized in serious condition after they fell into a residential swimming pool in Moreno Valley, authorities said Monday.

The incident was reported at 5:28 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of Steeplechase Drive, Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department said. The case was described as a drowning when firefighters were called to the scene.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department was investigating, Cabral said.
