CPK Fundraiser To Offer Support CA Wildfire Victims

Participating locations will donate 20% of food and beverage purchases to the California Fire Foundation if guests mention the fundraiser.

MALIBU, CA – The California Fire Foundation and California Pizza Kitchen will host a nationwide fundraiser on Tuesday, Dec. 18 to support firefighters and communities impacted by the recent fires in California. Participating California Pizza Kitchen locations nationwide will donate 20 percent of guests’ food and beverage purchases Tuesday to the California Fire Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect, the CPK press release said.

To participate in the fundraiser, guests must present the fundraiser flier or simply mention to their server that they are dining to support the California Fire Foundation. The fundraiser is valid for dine-in, takeout, online, catering, curbside or delivery orders placed directly with CPK – but not through third party delivery services.

“More than 11,000 families devastated by the recent wildfires received direct, immediate assistance from firefighters through the Foundation’s SAVE program, giving out more than $2.5M to victims of the recent fires,” Brian K. Rice, chair of the California Fire Foundation, said in a statement. “We’re grateful for supporters like California Pizza Kitchen, whose generosity allows us to offer a hand up to those who have lost so much.”
