Safe Families for Children ministries is looking for families to open up their homes temporarily to children in crisis.

Temporary homes for children in crisis

LOOKING FOR LOVING, SAFE, HOST FAMILIES IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY TO OPEN UP THEIR HOME TEMPORARILY TO CHILDREN whose parents may be homeless, unemployed, hospitalized, in rehab, or other crisis. The ages of children range from 0-18. Hosting time ranges from 2 days to several months with the average stay being about 3 weeks. Host families choose the ages and time period they can serve. Safe Families for Children is unprecedented and designed to reduce child abuse and abandonment. Parents remain in custody of their children, there is no county or state involvement and there is no money exchanged.
