School Bus And Truck Collide In Rural Riverside County

HEMET, CA — A school bus and Ford F-150 truck collided at a Hemet intersection, California Highway Patrol shared Tuesday.

Just after 8:30 a.m., Riverside County Sheriff's Department deputies arrived at the scene where a truck and bus collided at the intersection of West Florida Avenue/State Route 74 and Winchester Road/State Route 79 "at the X," CHP dispatch said.

There were children on board, however no one was injured from the collision, according to CHP.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was cited in the crash, and no tow trucks or medics were called to the scene.

CHP released the incident by 8:50 a.m. No other information was immediately available.
