Spirit Spectacular Band Concert at Great Oak High School
Join us for a morning of holiday classics, a "Bon Voyage" tribute to Paris performers, and our final 2015 performance of "Out of the Blue."
We are pleased to announce on Saturday, December 12, 2015, The Spirit of Great Oak Marching Band and Guard will be showcasing their final performance of “Out of the Blue” in a “Spirit Spectacular” event from 10:30am to 1pm in the Great Oak High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Temecula, CA.
This year’s Spirit Spectacular will have some unique and memorable twists as the Great Oak Jazz Ensemble will be performing a “Bon Voyage” tribute to the Paris performers headed to Paris, France, for the “La Grande Parade de Paris” performance on January 1, 2016.
In March of 2015, it was announced that the City of Paris had partnered with the Youth Music of the World group to stage its New Year celebrations for 2016. Youth Music is famed for its international Street Spectaculars, and renowned Concert Series presented in Europe’s greatest capitals.

Only elite performing groups were considered for participation and The Spirit of Great Oak Band and Guard was one of the very first groups to be recommended to Youth Music to participate in the momentous inaugural “Grande Parade de Paris.” Youth Music remembered the Great Oak Band from their superb performances in London in 2013.
Please join us for this spectacular event, as we expect over 500 spectators and the media to be on hand. It will be a morning to remember! The cost of the event is $10 and will include lunch sponsored by The Habit Burger (lunch will be served at 11am).

Proceeds from this event will help provide meals and airport transportation for The Spirit of Great Oak Paris performers. The Spirit of Great Oak Band and Guard donations are overseen by our supporting foundation the “Great Oak Academic Leadership Society” (GOALS) which is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.

There will be a will call for all reserved tickets the day of the event. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event beginning at 9:00am in front of the Great Oak High School Performing Arts Center located at 32555 Deer Hollow Way, Temecula, CA 92592.
