Stater Bros. Building Could Become Bowling Alley

An application for a permit needed to run a bowling alley was received, though it won't finish clearing the red tape for about three months.

The former Stater Bros. building may be the home of a new bowling alley.

The city got an application for a permit needed to run a bowling alley in the building in the Winchester Square shopping center. Stater Bros. vacated it in 2006, according to the Californian.

The permit, submitted by Temecula Lanes Inc., will likely take three months to clear the application process, Patrick Richardson, the city's director of planning and redevelopment, told the Californian.
