Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula Raise More than $300 for Red Nose Day at Art Auction
Students created artwork, collected change and sold red noses to raise money to end child poverty
Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula recently hosted an art auction and raised more than $300 to benefit Red Nose Day. In support of the fundraising campaign, which works to end child poverty, students created colorful art pieces and auctioned them to local families. Students collected change and sold red noses to raise additional funds. To celebrate the event, students wore red clothing, Red Nose Day hats and red noses.
Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by the nonprofit organization, Comic Relief Inc. The event brings people together to have fun, raise money and change the lives of kids who need help the most. Red Nose Day launched in the U.S. in 2015, and the money raised has benefitted programs for children and young people in all 50 states and in 25 countries internationally.
