Students at Discovery Isle Raise $1,225 for Kids for Peace

Students raised money for the global nonprofit at a color run and took part in various kindness projects

Students at Discovery Isle in Temecula recently participated in a color run at their school and raised $1,225 in for Kids for Peace, a global nonprofit dedicated to empowering children to spread peace through acts of kindness—surpassing their goal of raising $1,000. Students also created more than 100 paper links to contribute to Kids for Peace’s Links for Love paper chain, attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the longest paper chain while sharing messages of hope and love.

In addition to the donations to Kids for Peace, Discovery Isle students also took part in various other kindness projects. Summer camp classes made cards for seniors with pictures and words of encouragement, while Pre-K students made positive posters to decorate the school and kindness rocks to place around their neighborhood.
