Students of the Month Win Awards

The Chamber of Commerce honored 10 exceptional students.

The Temecula Chamber of Commerce named 10 students of the month.

They got their awards during a ceremony March 7, said Melanie Norton, the Temecula Valley Unified School District’s spokesperson.

The awards went to Rodney Feddema and Karla Gomez from , Ian Stubbs and Laura Hughes from Aaron Charles Dinger and Madison Michelle Wesseln from , Even Borgeson and Samantha Olivas from Raymond Holguin from Rancho Vista High School and Hailey Minter from High School.

The Student of the Month Program is in its 19th year. It honors children in Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Perris and Menifee, Norton said.

The students will compete for the 27 Student of the Year awards in May. Only 270 students win the Student of the Month award in the four school districts it serves, according to Norton.
