Sunrise Rotary's 'Run Through The Vineyard' Has New Date

Sign-ups are underway for the June event, for runners and walkers, held at the Maurice Car'rie Winery in Temecula.

TEMECULA, CA — The Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club has rescheduled its major fundraiser, the 33rd Annual Run through the Vineyard 2K, 5K and 10K from April to June 6 at the Maurice Car’rie Winery in Temecula.

With its launch in 1987, this run takes participants through the rows of vineyards and typically draws hundreds of runners from throughout southern California, organizers said.

The 2019 event had nearly 600 registrants and raised $25,000 for the such community-service projects as vocational and academic scholarships and a literacy program for third graders at Temecula’s Title I schools.
