Is Super Bowl Sunday a Good Day to Go to Disneyland?

Disneyland can get crowded. Very crowded. So it’s no wonder people are always looking for the least crowded days to attend the theme park.

A theory that we’ve often heard is that one of the best days to go to Disneyland is on Super Bowl Sunday. Everyone’s at home watching the big game, right? Not so, according to insiders.

Though Disneyland officials won’t release attendance data, the website isitpacked.com tracks the crowd indexes at a variety of them parks, including the Magic Kingdom. And from what they’ve been able to gather:

“Super Bowl Sunday at Disneyland is historically more crowded than usual.”

What’s more, they say– the park actually tends to be busier than normal on Super Bowl Sunday.
