SWR CHP Officers To Fill Their Patrol Units With Toys
The Temecula Area CHP is hosting a toy drive at a Murrieta Walgreens tonight.
SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — California Highway Patrol officers from the Temecula Area station will be out collecting toys in a CHiP's for Kids tonight. The agency is encouraging area residents to stop by the Walgreens at 29910 Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
"The CHP will be there to fill their patrol units with toys for the less fortunate children in the southwest Riverside County," CHP Officer Mike Lassig said.
Community members are urged to bring unwrapped toys to the collection event to help officers fill their cruisers. But if you can't make it to the event today, toy donations will continue at all Walgreens locations through Thursday, Dec. 20, Lassig said.
