Talk I-15 Traffic With Temecula Mayor Dr. Matt Rahn

Is I-15 traffic weighing you down? Here's a pick me up: Saturday at Promenade Temecula Starbucks, chat with Mayor Rahn on what's to be done.

TEMECULA, CA — On Saturday, March 19, Temecula Mayor Dr. Matt Rahn wants to talk traffic with you.

Dr. Rahn is inviting his constituents out to the mall's favorite coffee shop to dish on I-15 traffic woes, among other topics of conversation.

This week CalTrans is conducting nightly lane closures on the north and southbound I-15 as they replace a lane from the San Diego County line to the north of the Temecula Creek Bridge. Daytime work is happening behind the long stretch of K-Rail and often traffic in the area creates commuter problems even as fixes are in process.

For Dr. Rahn, this is the perfect opportunity to discuss issues with the famous I-15 bottleneck which leaves area commuters at a frequent standstill.

Saturday's hour and a half long talk will be a "casual, informational opportunity to talk about the I-15 traffic," a spokesperson from the city said.
