Temecula Announces Its Holiday Schedule
After many seasonal gatherings were closed last year, Temecula city officials announced a full lineup of holiday events.
TEMECULA, CA — Last holiday season, surging coronavirus cases sent the state into a lockdown, prompting the cancellation of nearly every public gathering. This year, the city announced that its annual holiday lineup would return, with its first event kicking off next week.
Temecula's Special Events 2021 Holiday Schedule will include the following five events:
- Christmas Tree Lighting at The Pond - Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
- Santa's Electric Light Parade on Jefferson - Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
- Temecula's On Ice Grand Opening on Main Street - Dec. 18 from noon to 8 p.m.
- Chilled In The Park at Ronald Reagan Sports Park - Dec. 18 at 5 p.m.
- New Year's Eve Grape Drop at Civic Center - Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight
“There’s no place like Temecula for the holidays. With so many ways to make the most of the season, there is something for everyone to enjoy," said Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards. "I hope you will join us at our annual holiday favorites, like Santa’s Electric Light Parade, and experience new events like Chilled in the Park! Come make memories with your family and friends that will keep you warm all season long."
