Temecula Art & Street Painting Fest 2018: Call For Artists

Chalk artists and art exhibitors are invited to apply for the popular Old Town event planned for three days in June.

TEMECULA, CA ─ The City of Temecula will host the 18th Annual Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival in June, and the call is out for art exhibitors and chalk artists.

The festival will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 8, 9, and 10, an annual event that draws thousands of visitors to Old Town Temecula for the art show, with fine artists, ceramicists, jewelry designers, and photographers showing and selling their work in festival tents lining Town Square Park, Main Street and the Civic Center quad.

The fest also features large, detailed and very colorful chalk murals on Main Street, with the three-day event highlighting mural artists and an asphalt gallery of chalk art masterpieces, some as large as 10 feet by 12 feet, city organizers said.
