Temecula Casino Named Best in Southern California

TEMECULA, CA – Pechanga Resort & Casino was recently awarded top honors for gaming, guest services and amenities, casino officials said this week.

Pechanga representatives say the Temecula resort, which has a 200,000 square-foot gaming floor, beat out more than 20 others for the distinctions– one of which included the 'Best Casino in Southern California' award by the SoCal Gaming Guide.

"Voted on by magazine readers, 22 southern California tribal casinos were eligible for the distinction in the annual Reader’s Choice 2016 BEST CASINOS conducted in August," Pechanga said of the award.

Another publication, Casino Player magazine, recently awarded the local resort Best Overall Gaming Resort, Best Golf Course, and Best Craps, Pechanga says.

"A repeat winner in Casino Player’s Best Of series, the full-service resort and Journey at Pechanga golf course were the catalysts that won readers over this year," according to Pechanga. "Rated among the top public courses in California by GolfWeek magazine, readers love the sacred tribal aspects of the course as well as the challenging terrain."
