We were made aware that over the weekend, a fire truck displaying political endorsements was seen driving on the streets of Temecula.

We were made aware that over the weekend, a fire truck displaying political endorsements was seen driving on the streets of Temecula. We have conducted an investigation and concluded that the vehicle in question is privately-owned and operated, and is NOT a part of Cal-Fire, the Riverside County Fire Department nor the City of Temecula.

We also have a report of a vehicle resembling a police unit participating in similar activities. The Temecula Sheriff’s Station has investigated this report and confirmed it was NOT a Riverside County Sheriff vehicle assigned to Temecula or anywhere else in the County. The City of Temecula supports our Nation’s freedom of speech and expression. Rest assured that our public safety personnel and support vehicles are used solely for protecting and promoting the health and safety of our community.
