Temecula Coke House: Police Bust Alleged Cocaine Op, Buyers
Police arrested 5 people this week following a month-long investigation & surveillance. One of them is accused of running the "drug house."

TEMECULA, CA — A month-long Temecula investigation culminated recently with the arrest of five people on various drug charges and the discovery of an alleged "drug house." Police say they made the arrests last Friday.
While conducting surveillance at a home in the 42000 block of Kaffirboom Court — in the area of Margarita and Rancho California roads — the Temecula Police Department’s Special Enforcement (SET) Team were investigating "the reported sales of illegal drugs from a residence," according to sheriff's Sgt. Jon Wade.
On Friday, the SET officers were watching the home when they saw two vehicles stop in front of the house, go in for a "very short time" and leave.

"Temecula SET officers conducted an investigative stop of each of the two vehicles observed leaving the target residence where the activity was occurring," Wade said.
Wade reported that three people were arrested between the two vehicles: 48-year-old Timothy Felter of Murrieta for misdemeanor possession of cocaine; 54-year-old Scot Elliott of Wildomar for misdemeanor possession of cocaine; and 49-year-old Michael Grytness of Temecula for felony possession of cocaine.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene while the men were taken to jail, according to police. Records show that all three posted bail the same day and were released.
Back at the house police were watching, officers served a search warrant the same day. Two people were inside at the time, 25-year-old Morgan Jaynes of Temecula and 31-year-old Robert Lee Madden of Temecula, according to police.
"While serving the search warrant, officers located illegal drugs, packaging, a digital scale and U.S. currency consistent with illegal drugs sales," Wade said.
Madden was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale, possession of rock cocaine for sale and maintaining a drug house, police said.
Jaynes was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of cocaine.
Both Madden and Jaynes also posted bail and were released the next day, records show.
