TEMECULA, CA — Young dancers from the Temecula Dance Company performed in the 2023 Rose Parade to the delight of families and friends across Southwest Riverside County.

On Monday, Jan. 2, floats and performers lined up on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena to open the 134th Rose Parade. Temecula's tiny dancers took their places in front of the Honda Float "Forever Determined" and performed their dance to the sounds of Fitz and the Tantrums to open the parade.

Fitz and the Tantrums played "Let Yourself Free," the title track of their newest album, atop the Honda Float while the dancers performed after multiple hours of training with choreographer Sarah Ogleby. The TDC dancers performed along with the Rose Parade Youth Dancers, wearing brightly colored costumes as they moved, grooved and breakdanced along with the song in front of the grandstand.
