All you need to know for this year's big event celebrating the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017.

TEMECULA, CA – Temecula is again preparing to celebrate the New Year in the most Temecula way possible-- with the annual grape drop!
Friends and family of all ages are invited to the annual New Year's Eve Grape Drop on Saturday, December 31, 2016, beginning at 6:00 pm planned for Town Square Park, 41000 Main Street.
Temecula's custom-crafted, illuminated cluster of grapes begin the 65-foot descent to the third-story patio of the beautiful Civic Center clock tower. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will continue just one block away inside the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main Street, and the password inside is "Family First."
"This is another great example of putting Family First," Mayor Mike Naggar said. "Normally, Temecula enjoys sun shining through the mist, but when dark clouds are overhead, we band together, come rain or shine."
