TEMECULA, CA ─ Heroes are among us in our everyday lives andare called upon during a crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen our neighbors, friends, family, and community members become heroes in their own right. The City of Temecula’s Community Services Department (TCSD) wants to recognize our#HometownHeroes in a fun and creative way!

Temecula’s Community Services Department have been chronicled in a fun, creative, and artistic Superhero-themed comic strip series online. This original, virtual graphic novel illustrates how we create community through people, parks, and programs during this time of quarantine and social isolation due to COVID-19. Now, we want to highlight our community’s Hometown Heroes in this same format!
Do you know someone who is living or working in Temecula that you feel is a #HometownHero and deserves to be given Super Powers, an awesome costume, and a Superhero name? If so, we encourage you to nominate them to be featured in one of the TCSD’s Comic Series Episodes by visiting TemeculaCA.gov/HometownHeroes. We desperately need their Superpowers to help us battle and defeat super villain, The Virus!Please submit all nominations by Sunday, May 31, 2020.
