Temecula Library to Host Teen Art Sculpture Program

'Abstract Sculptures' will be held for grades 7-12 on Monday, April 17 at the Temecula Public Library.

From the City of Temecula: Be like Picasso when you go abstract with your art at the “Abstract Sculptures” Teen Program on Monday, April 17, 2017, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road).

Use squares, triangles, rectangles, circles, and more to create sculptures that are a departure from the real world. What form will your sculpture take? A self-portrait where you have blue skin made of triangles and hearts? Or a moose that has green antlers made of squares and circles? Your art will be a kaleidoscope of rainbows and shapes that defy gravity and reality.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, this Teen Program is for students in Grades 7- 12 and limited to 30 participants. Advance registration begins two weeks prior to the scheduled event. Please register at the library reception desk or by calling (951) 693-8900.
