Temecula Man Killed In Interstate 15 Crash

CHP officials say the man was run over by a box truck after crashing a motorcyclist on Interstate 15.

FALLBROOK, CA — A Temecula man was killed in an Interstate 15 crash this week, after crashing on a motorcycle while splitting lanes, the California Highway Patrol said. The man, whose name was not immediately released, crashed in the Fallbrook area near East Mission Road.

According to CHP officials, the 46-year-old motorcyclist was riding between slower-moving vehicles when he crashed his two-wheeler in the northbound lanes just after 4:30 p.m. After tumbling onto the pavement, the rider was run over by a box truck, CHP public affairs Officer Mark Latulippe said.

The victim died at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
