Temecula New Year's Events: 2018 Guide
It's never too early to start thinking about New Year's Eve! Here's your guide to parties and other events happening in and near Temecula.

TEMECULA, CA — Love it or hate it, New Year's Eve is happening again this year. Whether you plan to ring in 2018 at your favorite restaurant, a buzzing party with your friends, or all cozied up in front of the TV, we've got you covered.
So pop the bubbly, come up with some resolutions you can actually stick to and get ready to celebrate the New Year. Check out local listings below of New Year's celebrations and events for 2017 in and near Temecula if you're one to want to go out, plus a look at what television programming may make you want to stay in.
If you want to go out..
- Temecula's famous 'Grape Drop' is a must-see. Plus, what's better than ringing in the New Year once? Two times. At this event, you can celebrate 2018 with and East Coast AND West Coast countdown. The event will feature vendors, activities for kids, live music and more.
- After spending years working on a massive expansion, Pechanga Resort & Casino will host several parties across their property:
- The Round Bar: A FREE party with a balloon and confetti drop and a live DJ from 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- Eagle’s Nest: Come dressed in 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s to get your groove on to classic rock, old school and disco! Tickets are $50 pre-sale or $60 at the door.
- Cabaret at the Ballroom: An 80’s All Starz theme, celebrate with us in the ballroom. Doors open at 8 p.m. and entertainment provided by the 80’s All Starz live band begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 pre-sale and $35 at the door.
- Comedy Club: Giggle the night away with special engagement comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows. He’ll perform two shows at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $26.95.
- Acorns Bar: Enjoy the free tunes of new jams and old favorites by Jasmine Seek, Temecula’s very own singer/songwriter. She’ll serenade you with blues, classic rock, reggae, and today’s hits.
- All that Glitters Bingo Extravaganza: Use up the rest of your 2017 luck at one of the most modern Bingo facilities in the country! Pechanga Bingo will have more than $150,000 in cash and prizes for the night. Doors and sales open at 12 p.m. Regular sessions begin at 8 p.m.
- Kelsey’s: Say goodbye to 2017 by dancing the night away! DJ ODM of 99.1FM KGGI, DJ Cre-8 and DJ Erika Starr will be spinning Top 40’s all night. Tickets are $75 pre-sale and $95 at the door and include passed Hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast.
- Win a Car!: Earn entries from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. for a Mercedes CLA Coupe and $1,000 in EasyPlay®! Winners will be posted at 2:30 a.m.

“New Year’s Eve Live” With Anderson Cooper And Andy Cohen
Where to catch it: CNN
Why you should watch: For the first time ever, Anderson Cooper will host CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve Live special with none other than “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooper’s former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018” Hosted by Ryan Seacrest
Where to catch it: ABC
Why you should watch: Remember last year’s infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrest’s watch. So if that’s any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there aren’t any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
