Temecula Now Showing Classic Movies in the Park

"Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" is showing August 16th at Town Square Park.

The following is a news release from the city of Temecula:

In our continued efforts to bring more arts and cultural to the community through event programming, the City of Temecula Community Services Department is presenting a series of classic films, showing outdoors in the park on Saturday nights during the month of August. All films that are featured in the series have been deemed “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant” by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.

Please join us for our feature films “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” on August 16th at Town Square Park, and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” on August 23rd at Town Square Park.

Grab some dinner in Old Town and join us at dusk, the perfect Saturday “date night” plan. Films will be shown outdoor cinema style, so bring your chairs and blankets and we’ll see you at the park for this entertaining new series. This film series is free to the public, and subject matter is recommended for a mature audience, viewer discretion advised.
