Temecula PD Nabs Person In Stolen Car After They Run A Red Light

Officials say that the person also had meth and a gun with them.

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula police busted someone hauling drugs and a gun while driving a stolen car — all because they ran a red light in town, officials said. The incident happened Thursday evening.

"A Motorcycle Officer from our traffic division, tasked with enforcing red light violations, stopped a vehicle near Margarita Road and Winchester Road for running a red light," police said on Facebook.

The officer soon learned that the driver was on probation in San Bernardino — and that the car they were driving had been reported stolen.
