Temecula Prostitution-Narcotics Sting Nets 10 Arrests

TEMECULA, CA — Authorities arrested 10 men as part of a sting operation targeting men trying to solicit prostitutes, the Riverside County Sheriff's office said Friday. The sting doubled as a narcotics operation, with several men booked on suspicion of narcotics possession.

Those arrested were soliciting an undercover female sheriff's deputy in exchange for money, authorities said. Other deputies targeted people with active warrants who were known to buy or sell narcotics, according to the sheriff's office.

These 10 people were arrested and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of the listed charges:

• Ron Dye, 72, Murrieta resident — Prostitution
• Everett Mays, 53, Temecula resident — Prostitution
• Chad Nehlsen, 41, Murrieta resident — Prostitution
• Daniel Wolff, 31, Temecula resident — Prostitution
• Juan Juan, 46, Wildomar resident — Prostitution
• Alfredo Becerra, 33, Temecula transient — Possession of Illegal Narcotics and Felony Violation of Probation
• Derrick Kendrick, 25, Winchester resident — Possession of Illegal Narcotics
• William Blackmon, 38, Menifee transient — Possession of Illegal Narcotics and Felony Warrant
