Temecula Ranked Among 'Most Romantic Cities' in America

For all the Temecula lovebirds out there looking for a nice, romantic getaway this Valentine’s Day— you don’t have to look far. That’s because you’re living in one of the most romantic cities in America, according to a new report.

According to the real estate website Movato, Temecula falls just shy of the Top 10 Most Romantic Mid-Sized Cities in America. It placed eleventh on their list.

Nearby Murrieta came in 47. A total of 174 cities were ranked.

“To determine which places would set your heart aflutter, we looked at marriage statistics and the number of flower shops, parks (for your romantic strolling needs), romantic restaurants, and wedding planning businesses in 174 mid-sized cities,” Movato writes of their methodology to compile the list.

If you’d rather take a little drive to someplace romantic, you have several options. The majority— 70 percent— of the top ten romantic cities are in California; and most of those are here in SoCal.

3. Sunnyvale, CA
4. Huntington Beach, CA
5. Bellevue, WA
