Temecula Resident ID'd As Man Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver

Leads are sought in the case. A witness reported the vehicle was a dark-colored sedan.

TEMECULA, CA — A pedestrian killed Saturday night in Jurupa Valley by a hit-and-run driver has been identified by the coroner's bureau as a Temecula resident.

Robert Ibrahim, 41, died at the scene in the 1300 block of Rubidoux Boulevard. at 8:42 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.

According to the sheriff's department, deputies responded to the crash scene at 8:26 p.m. after a witness called. The witness reported seeing the victim, later identified as Ibrahim, getting hit in the #2 southbound lane of Rubidoux Boulevard.

The driver didn't stop and sped away southbound on Rubidoux Boulevard, the witness told deputies.

Ibrahim was found on the west dirt shoulder of the roadway.

The witness described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored sedan, which should have sustained damage to the front passenger side and sideview mirror, the sheriff's department reported.
