PHOTOS: Rod Run Rolls Through Old Town

The Rod Run attracts thousands of car enthusiasts and spectators every year. Featured this year are vehicles manufactured before 1970.

This year's Rod Run ran Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Old Town.

The ever-popular 'Friday Night Cruise' was Friday, from 5 p.m. to 8 pm.

Hundreds of classic cars from all over the country cruised Old Town Front Street. Temecula blocked through traffic in Old Town from north to south, and these classics ran wild, having the road to themselves.

Spectators were able to see these classics roam around, rev up their engines, honk their horns and strut their stuff.

This will be the year's only Rod Run, which used to happen twice a year. To read an explanation,

Today, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Rod Run had its 'Show & Shine' event, when the streets are open to pedestrians, who can walk around and look at all the pre-1970s classics.
