Temecula Senior Center Closing For Renovations
The Mary Phillips Senior Center will close for enhancements starting in April.

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula's Mary Phillips Senior Center will close for much-needed renovations and enhancements starting in April, according to a city spokesperson. The repairs and enhancements will keep the center shuttered until at least fall, according to the city.
Outside, the roof will be replaced as will the facade. Inside, new lighting will warm up the expanding library room. ADA upgrades are also in the works, they say, as is the addition of a shuffleboard court.
All of the essential services provided to seniors at the center, like the Daily Nutrition Program, Transportation Program, AARP Tax-Aide, and the Cool Center will be moved to the Temecula Community Center located at 28816 Pujol Street.
