Temecula Students Invited to Participate in Energy Conservation Contest
RighTime will be accepting entries between March 10 and April 15 for a chance to win cash prizes.

From RighTime Home Services: RighTime® Home Services, a residential heating, air conditioning and plumbing company in Riverside, has partnered with the Temecula Education Foundation (TEF) for the fifth annual “Think Green” Contest.” The Think Green Contest invites students in the Temecula Valley Unified School District to “think green” and submit an idea in the form of a written essay, drawing, model or video on how to conserve energy in their community. RighTime will be accepting entries between March 10 and April 15, 2017 for a chance to win cash prizes. Winners will be announced at the 7th Annual Taste of Temecula Valley on April 29, 2017.
RighTime Home Services and the TEF, an organization committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for the community and its students, are encouraging kindergarten through 12th grade students to enter their best creative ideas for the Think Green Contest. All “green” ideas will be accepted during the contest, running March 10 through April 15, and will be divided into the following categories based on grade level; elementary school (K-5th grade), middle school (6th-8th grade) and high school (9th-12th grade). The high school student with the winning idea will be awarded a $500 cash prize; the middle school and elementary school finalists will be awarded $300 and $200 cash prizes, respectively. In addition, RighTime Home Services will match the total prize earnings with a $1,000 donation to the TEF.
“Community involvement is a huge priority for our team at RighTime and we’re thrilled to announce the fifth annual Think Green Contest here in the Temecula Valley,” said Melissa Cisneros, project manager for RighTime Riverside. “Through the Think Green contest, we hope to continue bringing awareness about energy conservation, while encouraging students to recognize the impact they can make on our environment. We have received so many incredible ideas over the last four years and have high expectations for what’s in store this year!”
