TEMECULA, CA — Thanksgiving is nearly here and people in Temecula are busy planning the perfect menu for this year’s holiday dinner.
In the last-minute rush to make a complete holiday meal for the entire family, it’s quite possible we’ll forget an item or two on our grocery lists. Fortunately, plenty of grocery stores across California will be open on Thanksgiving Day to pick up the dessert, rolls or the missing can of cranberry sauce. Oh! and don't forget some flowers for mom while you're at it.
Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with those that won’t. As always, Patch encourages you to call ahead to your local store to confirm hours at that location.

Sprouts: Sprouts is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Albertsons: A majority of stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, though most stores will adjust hours. Select pharmacies will also be closed or have adjusted hours. The location at 3901 Crenshaw Blvd will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

CVS: All 24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will remain open with regular hours on Thanksgiving. Non-24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will close at 5 p.m. Some locations may have reduced pharmacy hours or may be closed for the holiday. The company recommends calling ahead to confirm store hours.
Grocery Outlet Bargain Market: Most Grocery Outlet locations across the Golden State will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ralphs: Ralphs locations will close at 10 p.m. for the Thanksgiving holiday and pharmacies will be closed all day.
Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but hours will vary depending upon location. Customers should check Rite Aid’s website for local store hours.
Stater Bros: All stores in California will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Vons: Locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Thanksgiving.
Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Walgreens stores and pharmacies that operate 24 hours will be open, with other select pharmacies open with modified hours. Customers are encouraged to check their local store hours before heading out.
