Temecula Trump Supporters Gather At Duck Pond After Indictment

TEMECULA, CA — A small group of former President Donald Trump's Temecula supporters gathered Wednesday at the Temecula Duck Pond to show solidarity during his indictment this week.

The Press-Enterprise reported that the group "denounced the criminal case as a witch hunt," that was "politically motivated to derail" Trump's candidacy for the 2024 election.

This week, Trump faced a judge in a Manhattan courtroom, pleading not guilty to all charges. The 16-page indictment details the 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

One Temecula sign holder held a message saying "Free Our Political Prisoners" while another held a life-sized cutout of Melania Trump as they stood on the corner during the day.

Flag waving and rallying at the Temecula Duck Pond, at the corner of Ynez and Rancho California roads is nothing new.

The Duck Pond has long been a place for rallies and political support, from the March for Our Lives protests standing up to gun violence to multiple protests against police violence during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wednesday's flag wavers and sign holders received their share of supportive honks and waves while others drove by in silence.
