Temecula Valley Elks Hosts Annual Drug Awareness Contest
Students enrolled at public and private schools in Temecula and Murrieta can enter a contest sponsored by the Temecula Elks Lodge.

TEMECULA, CA - From the Temecula Valley Elks: All schools (public and private) have been invited to participate in the Elks Annual DrugAwareness Contests. The theme for the 2017-2018 contests is “What Heroes Do.”
There are three contests:
Poster Contest for students in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Essay Contest for students in grades 6th , 7th and 8th.
Video Contest for students in High School and Pre-High School.
All schools in Temecula and Murrieta were given the contest rules and contest entry form. It was sent out through Peach Jar or hand-delivered. The deadline for entries is November 14, 2017. They are to be turned into the Temecula Valley Elks #2801, which is located on 28061 Diaz Road in Temecula. Please call (951) 695-7470 before you drop them off, to assure someone is there to accept your contest entries and/or to have someone meet you at the Lodge to accept the entries. Entries from any of the three categories, cannot be accepted after November 14, 2017.

The judges will pick the top three entries in each category (Poster, Essay and Video.) The winners in each category, their parents and their teachers will be invited to a special dinner and award presentation ceremony at the Temecula Valley Elks #2801. The winners will receive an invitation by mail.
