Temecula Valley Moms, Daughters Host Annual Philanthropy Fair

The National Charity League, Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter, has nearly 250 members.

National Charity League: National Charity League Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter held its annual Philanthropy Fair and meeting for its near 250 members on Aug. 18.

The purpose the Philanthropy Fair to educate their membership of the Temecula Valley chapter on what each of our philanthropies are, what they stand for, and how we can volunteer at each of these partners in our Temecula and Murrieta community. The Philanthropy Fair benefits National Charity League, Inc., Temecula Valley chapter in many ways. Members are informed on specific requirements a philanthropy might have before volunteering, so that the volunteering experience is seamless for everyone involved.

Several of our NCL Temecula Valley chapter liaisons were able to get representatives to come to the fair. Maggie Allen, who represents Community Mission of Hope was in attendance along with Melissa Littlefield, from the Littlefield Foundation, Liz Henry from Green Acres Interactive Therapy (GAIT) Liaison and Debbie Parker who is the Community Outreach Coordinator from Michelle's Place was also at the fair. These ladies brought a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the fair and to our membership. They were able to explain and answer specific questions about their organization.

National Charity League, Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter currently partners with more than a dozen local philanthropies, including City of Temecula , City of Murrieta , Susan G. Komen-I.E., Hope’s Community Closet, Habitat for Humanity-Inland Valley , Binky Patrol, Our Nicholas Foundation, Littlefield Foundation, Michelle’s Place, Old Town Temecula Community Theater, Pennypickle’s Workshop, Green Acres Interactive Therapy, MCAS Camp Pendleton , Community Mission of Hope, Jacob’s House, and Temecula Valley Champions


National Charity League is one of the nation’s most well-respected and oldest mother-daughter organizations with its mission to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to Community Service, Leadership Development and Cultural Experiences. Currently the NCL, Inc., has 267 chapters across the United States .

Annually, its members from coast to coast volunteer over 1 million hours in their local communities. Additionally, mother and daughter volunteer together in our community members hold leadership positions, and learn about and attend cultural activities. The NCL, Inc., Temecula Valley chapter draws its near 250 members from girls who live in or attend school in Temecula and Murrieta. Both mother, (Patronesses) and daughters (Ticktockers) are both members in this organization.
