Temecula Weather On July 4th, When Will The Heat Break?
Expect triple digits in some parts of the Inland Empire. Excessive heat warnings to begin the 4th of July week across RivCo.
TEMECULA, CA — Parts of Riverside County and San Bernardino County will see temperatures over 100 degrees as the 4th of July arrives, the National Weather Service predicted.
The group shared an excessive heat warning that would last until 8 p.m. Monday for the desert cities as far inland as Hemet, an air quality alert was in effect until 10 p.m. Monday.
On Tuesday, temperatures were predicted to remain the same. Temecula was expected to see temperatures around 90 as the high-pressure system started moving slowly to the east.

Meteorologists predicted that temperatures in Southwest Riverside County would cool by as much as 10 degrees by Saturday.

Meanwhile, high temperatures scorched the Inland Empire on Sunday, topping 117 in Coachella and Palm Springs, 103 in Hemet, 98 in Riverside, and 90 in Temecula. Those temperatures were expected to repeat on Monday.

During high heat, residents are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the midday sun and check on relatives and neighbors.
"Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances," the NWS advised.
Also, watch out for scorching hot sidewalks when it comes to kids playing outside.
