Temecula Woman Found Dead On Roadway Publicly ID'd
Police say that they've arrested a man for her murder who was found alongside her.

TEMECULA, CA — Riverside County sheriff's officials on Wednesday said a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder for the death of a Temecula woman whose body was found over the weekend. The woman was found in the Winchester area, while the man was found badly injured nearby, according to officials.
Police identified the victim as Deborah Warner of Temecula. She was 47.
Authorities haven't released many details about the woman's death, but said she was found on Saturday at 3:42 a.m. in the area of Winchester and Pourroy roads after someone called 911 to report an "assault with a deadly weapon."

"Deputies arrived and located an adult female victim deceased on the roadway and an adult male with significant injuries laying nearby," sheriff's Sgt. Walter Mendez said Saturday.
On Wednesday, the sheriff's department released an update to the case and identified Warner's accused killer as 48-year-old Jeffrey Kruger of Hemet. After Kruger was taken to the hospital on Saturday morning, he was booked into the French Valley jail on Monday, according to booking records. His bail was set at $1 million.

Police did not disclose how Warner died or the connection between her and Kruger. However, a Facebook page that appears to belong to Kruger has him listed "in a relationship" with Warner.
