Temecula's Adult Spelling Bee: How Would You Rank?
How do you spell F-U-N? The City of Temecula is opening a city-wide Spelling Bee for adults of any age, the first since the 2020 shutdown.
TEMECULA, CA —Spelling Bees aren't just for kids in Temecula. The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library is hosting its annual Adult Spelling Bee on Thursday, April 21 from 6 p.m. - 7:30 pm. Interested residents can register for the event now.
The library paused the city's Adult Spelling Bees during the pandemic, and now opens this event back to the public for 2022.

It's a lot like a spelling bee for kids, without the added pressure of trying to get to the nationals. Parents, grandparents and adult siblings can try their hand at spelling under pressure from the stage at your local library branch.
Participants will go head-to-head against their friends and neighbors, spelling from a list of predetermined words for a chance to become the Spelling Bee Champion.

Come and compete, or attend and lend your support. No registration is necessary if you want to jump in or out of the contest, organizers say.
The Spelling Bee is sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries and open to adults 18
and over.
