Temecula's LongHorn Steakhouse Opening Date Announced
The newest steak place at the corner of Rancho California Road and Ynez Road is coming soon.

TEMECULA, CA —The sign is up and the paint is on. Temecula's LongHorn Steakhouse, under construction for many months on Rancho California Road and Ynez Road, is slated to open on April 18, 2023, according to the corporate website.
The new restaurant has taken shape over the torn-down Marie Callender's Restaurant at 29363 Rancho California Road on the southwest corner of Ynez Road, near the Embassy Suites hotel. In addition to a menu of beef, freshly baked bread, chopped salads, desserts and other dishes, the 5,708-square-foot casual-dining eatery will offer beer, wine and cocktails.
The new restaurant will feature an outdoor patio and will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

LongHorn Steakhouse sits across the street from the existing Black Angus Steakhouse, located at 27737 Ynez Road. During a November 2021 Planning Commission meeting, city staff informed the commissioners that the city has no control over the type of food a permitted restaurant serves.
There is no access to the restaurant off Rancho California Road. Instead, patrons who visit by vehicle will have to use a side street off Ynez Road.
