Toys Still Needed for Families of Local Military Members
Operation Silver Star is a local nonprofit which is "..dedicated to assisting wounded and returning combat military veterans of all eras."

A local nonprofit organization is in need of Christmas gifts for the families of some of the Temecula Valley’s servicemen and women who may otherwise not see anything this year.
There are more than 84 children on a list that Menifee-based Operation Silver Star is working to help, ranging in ages from newborn to 18-years-old.
The original plan was to only collect gifts up to Dec. 13, but organizers tell Patch that they are running so short on gifts, they’ll keep collecting through Dec. 23.
