Try Temecula Valley's Best Burgers In October At Annual 'Battle'
Eat the best burgers in Temecula Valley — or vie for prizes yourself — on Oct. 19 at the Battle of the Burgers & Loaded Fries Competition.
TEMECULA, CA — Who makes the best burgers in the Temecula Valley? You can find out who — or vie for the title yourself — on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the annual Battle of the Burgers & Loaded Fries competition at Pechanga Resort Casino.
Tickets will be on sale soon at Temecula Valley High School, and at VisitTemeculaValley.com/battle-of-the-burgers. Any restaurants interested in competing for best burger can visit that website to register now, or call 951-491-6085.
Beyond the burger competition, students will also pair with Pechanga chefs to build their own "loaded fries." Attendees will taste-test the burgers and fries before voting for favorites. Awards will include People's Choice and Judge's Choice— the latter category being decided by professional food critics and writers.

The event is organized by Visit Temecula Valley, Pechanga Resort Casino and Temecula Valley Unified School District. Proceeds support the TVUSD culinary department, helping students pursue careers in the culinary industry.
Organizers encourage buying tickets early — the event is expected to sell out at 400 tickets. Tickets are $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door if available. Students and seniors are $15, children under five are free.
