TV Girls Softball All-Stars Just Miss in Shoot Out

The Temecula Terminators finish second in an ASA tournament hosted by the Temecula Valley Girls Softball Association.

With the Temecula Old Town Shoot Out softball tournament in their backyard, the Terminators competed very well, as they finished second in the 18-team 8-and-under division last weekend.

The Terminators had the title in its sight and advanced to the championship game, but were gunned down by a more experienced team from San Marcos for the title.

Hosted by the Temecula Valley Girls Softball Association, the tournament ran June 17-19 at several parks in Temecula, including Patricia Birdsall Sports Park, Ronald Reagan Sports Park and Paloma Del Sol Sports Park, home of TVGSA. Fans and vistors had high praise for all three facilities, the association website stated.
